Our facility in Cape Canaveral, FL has an immediate opportunity for an Integrated Planning Associate Manager – IV (Logistics Support Manager) to join our mission supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program. For over 60 years, the FBM team has supported the Navy’s mission to provide affordable and credible strategic deterrence that will help keep our nation and our allies secure. In this leadership role on the FBM team you will be responsible for Integrated Logistics Support methods for planning and implementing the acquisition and use of resources necessary to sustain the performance of ground support equipment used for specific functions or operations.

In this dynamic role you will:

  • Provide leadership, direction, guidance and assistance to ensure communication & coordination to multi-disciplined teams

  • Instill logistics process disciplines, provide direction, and seek out and drive opportunities to improve efficiencies while holding team responsible to deliver on commitments within cost and schedule

  • Manage military service inquiries, requests for proposals and provisioning determinations

  • Organize/Integrate high performance teams, inspire/motivate employees to perform productively in a team environment and establish and communicate organization vision and goals

  • Coordinate status reports and metrics relating to supplier performance and mission readiness

  • Coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

  • Ensure the strategic positioning of spare components in support of FBM operations

  • Monitor and escalate risks due to parts obsolescence to leadership while collaborating with Design Engineering for solutions

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5-8 years of logistics experience

  • 3-5 years of previous leadership experience, either formal or informal (e.g. team lead, project lead, etc)

  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning tools

  • Experience with inventory management and delivery processes

  • Computer proficiency in software applications

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain a government security clearance at the Secret level

Desired Skills:

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Prefer a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Procurement and Acquisition.

  • Prefer 8+ years of logistics experience

  • Prefer 5 years of previous formal, coded leadership experience

  • Experience with FBM Program

  • Experience with SAIL/SAP

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Existing relationships with internal & external customers

  • Experience coordinating projects where multi-disciplines/organizations need to work together to achieve specific goals to meet milestone schedules

  • Knowledge of Repair Management for determining levels of maintenance

  • Knowledge of Obsolescence and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

9×80 every other Friday off
