Job Title: Construction Manager – Global Field ServicesReports to: Houston Operations ManagerJob DescriptionThe Construction Manager position will be based out of Zeeco’s Houston office but will spend the majority of time in the field. The position will require knowledge of all Zeeco products, with a focus on installation of this equipment. The position will be responsible for managing Zeeco’s field crew and serving internal and external customers. Moderate travel will be required. When not in the field, this position will report to the Zeeco Houston facility to complete paperwork, prepare for the next project, or oversee small manufacturing projects. \nJob Duties

  • Direct supervisor of field service personnel.
  • Manages day-to-day scheduling of projects and personnel assignments.
  • Remote and/or on-site supervision and oversight of field crew including foreman, technicians, welders, fitters, riggers, etc.
  • Primary point of contact for internal personnel, customer, or sub-contractors for on-site service projects.
  • Reviews and approves crew timesheets and expenses.
  • Assists with technical development and risk assessment of customer inquiries.
  • Identifies resources required to complete scope of work, including crew needs, tools, materials, and equipment, and prepares and outfits crew for the job.
  • Travels to site, as needed, for sales visits, pre-work job scope reviews, kickoff meetings, and/or on-site crew management.
  • Completes all safety requirements and qualifications required to visit sites.
  • Completes written or electronic reports or other basic documentation as required.
  • When not on site, directs shop personnel on small fabrication/manufacturing projects.
  • Works with management to determine updated skills and tools needed to continue improving performance and knowledge.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned that are appropriate based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

  • Preferred experience:
  • Experience with combustion equipment including flares, burners, and thermal oxidizers.
  • Working for or with industrial or commercial construction companies.
  • Working for or with companies in oil & gas, petrochemicals, or related industries.
  • Field experience on construction/installationprojects.
  • Management experience.
