Our client is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects in both the big box retail and light industrial warehouse/distribution sectors. Opportunity includes the following:

  • Manage all aspects of commercial construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Monitor and control project costs, preparing financial reports and managing change orders.
  • Enforce safety protocols and quality standards, conducting site inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Act as the primary liaison with clients, providing updates and resolving concerns to maintain strong relationships.
  • Supervise on-site teams, fostering collaboration and accountability among crew members.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, troubleshooting issues to keep projects on track.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-7 years of project management experience with a general contractor in commercial construction.
  • Demonstrated success managing projects valued at $5M-$30M, preferably in the big box retail sector
  • Has performed site work including utilities
  • Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable negotiating with stakeholders and presenting to clients

  • Base Salary: $120,000 – $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
  • Annual Bonus: based on project and company profitability and performance metrics.
