This is one of the only careers where the most important job is to play and have fun.No weekends, no late nights, paid training, paid vacation, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement.You must have/be:

  • a desire to be better – listen 2x as much as you speak (as they say)
  • self-confidence – whether you think you can or you can’t either way you’re right
  • a pride in everything you put your name to – answer yes I did my very best today
  • the utmost respect for others -think before you act or speak
  • a keen attention to safety – see trouble coming and make the wisest decision
  • understand the importance of clear communication – team work makes the dream work
  • no fear of responsibility and ownership- you only grow when you challenge yourself to do something more
  • accountability – what did you do? Don’t blame others.
  • ability to pat yourself on the back – some things are thankless and you may not personally see the good fruit but there will be good fruit
