When you step into a career with AT&T, you won’t just imagine the future – you’ll create it.As a Lead Environmental, Health/Safety Manager, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the company’s environmental, health and safety training programs, courses, and policies for the purpose of providing employees with a safe and healthful workplace, safeguarding the community, protecting the environment, and complying with relevant regulations.Key Roles and Responsibilities:Provides subject matter expertise relying on past EH&S work experiences to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.Monitors or develops EH&S training programs, policies, and/or courses to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local governmental regulations and minimize on-duty accidents.Works on EH&S issues of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Utilizes expertise in petroleum storage tanks, air, water and waste compliance management.Exercises judgement in selecting EH&S methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.Determines EH&S methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to other personnel.May have 24/7 responsibility to respond to emergency situations including regulatory notifications to government agencies.Recommends corrective action where environmental, health, or safety hazards exist.Develops recommendations to prevent or correct hazardous situations.Applies project management techniques to develop EH&S programs and courses by establishing and directing content development teams and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.Education: Preferred bachelor’s degree related to Environment, Health, and Safety (i.e., engineering, physical, environmental or life science) or bachelor’s degree relevant to applicable EHS field or 5 years of relevant experience in the applicable EHS field.Experience: Typically, 5 to 7 years of relevant Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) experience and/or EHS related professional certification preferred.Supervisory: No.Environmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&Ts compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.Our Lead Env/Health/Safety Managers earn between $118,800 – $178,200 of TSR.
