Job Description

Job summaryWe are seeking a Network Admin with a strong background in Network, Network Basics, Network Configuration, and Network Security Testing. With a role designated as Business Associate, the ideal candidate will have between 6 to 9 years of experience. This position involves analyzing and interpreting geospatial data to support network infrastructure projects, ensuring optimal performance and security.

  • Designs, implements, and manages the local and wide area networks to ensure maximum uptime for data flows within our Information and Operational Technology Systems
  • Designs and configures network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers
  • Supports the day-to-day Network operations, performs problem solving and issue resolution
  • Resolves complex multi-vendor network issues (ie Cisco, Fortinet etc).
  • Interacts with Carriers to address data transport issues
  • Completes patching and cyber security hardening of network infrastructure
  • Implements policies and procedures in asset tracking, information protection, change management, security monitoring, controls and recovery to support compliance with internal cyber security standards and NERC CIP
  • Manages and secures interactive remote access
  • Supports storm restoration efforts

Required Skills: Network, Network Basics, Network ConfigurationRoles & Responsibilities– Lead the analysis and interpretation of geospatial data related to network infrastructure projects.– Develop and implement strategies for the optimization of network performance through geospatial analysis.– Conduct network security testing to identify vulnerabilities within the geospatial context.– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial data with network planning and security measures.– Utilize advanced geospatial tools and techniques to model network scenarios and predict outcomes.– Provide expert advice on network configurations and adjustments based on geospatial analysis findings.– Stay abreast of the latest developments in geospatial technology and network security protocols.– Ensure the accuracy and integrity of geospatial data used in network analysis.– Facilitate training sessions for team members on geospatial analysis techniques and network security best practices.– Prepare detailed reports and presentations on geospatial analysis results and their implications for network performance and security.Qualifications– Must have a strong foundation in Network, Network Basics, Network Configuration, and Network Security Testing.– Proven experience in geospatial data analysis and its application to network infrastructure projects.– Proficient in the use of geospatial analysis software and tools.– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead projects to successful completion.– A commitment to continuous learning and staying informed about the latest industry trends.– Bachelors degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.Diverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
