and Business Director.
Define tactic and strategy for the sales activities in the US, aligned with E&C capabilities and
internal departments like LI, H2E, Airgas.
Key customer facing role.
Main objective is to generate sales for E&C, which are measured with Order Intake level (Target
above 500mUSD in 2024, which shall generate 35 mUSD net profit for E&C), sales of license and
technology references.
This is both an operative and strategic role within the organization.Business Areas Responsibilities Key Job Responsibilities● Promote and sell existing E&C products and services with a focus on Energy Transition and ligned with Product Lines worldwide strategy.● Seek and establish partnerships needed to successfully meet sales targets.● Lead a team of Business Development Directors located among the Americas (5 people in 2024).● Act as a peer with VPs Solution Development, Proposal and Estimating, Technology, Project Execution but also support functions like Finance and Legal.● Support the Product development programs by initiating a sales pipeline for the new technologies being developed.● Convey market feedback on the directions our customers are taking toward energy transition and ensure that the Product development programs are in line with the future market expectations.● Work as a team member either with local and/or with international team membersAre you a MATCH?Education Requirements● Master’s degree in Engineering is preferred (Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical)● Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical) is required● 10 + years of related professional experience in industrial Gases, LNG, Oil & Gas, refinery, Petrochemical● Proven experience in sales management, proven track record as leader of sales process.● Experience in the management of small teamGeneral Requirements● Expertise in complex contract negotiations over 1M$, involving sale of technologies● EPC plants proposals and estimation knowledge is required, including working in an environment of stringent Oil & Gas technical specifications● Technology knowledge and curiosity● Willingness to travel extensively (US mostly, Europe and South America regularly)● Knowledge of cryogenic technologies and understanding of the Industrial Gases and Pipeline business models is an asset● Ability to develop creative business proposals for internal and external clients within the energy transition regulatory frameworkPhysical Requirements● Ability to travel frequentlyOur Differences make our PerformanceAt Air Liquide, we are committed to build a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces the diversity of our employees, our customers, patients, community stakeholders and cultures across the world.We welcome and consider applications from all qualified applicants, regardless of their background.
